IT4biz Small Business Cube (SBC) is a central computing system for SMBs which offer all infrastructure and many advanced IT services that these types of businesses need.

Basic Functions

IT4Biz SBC is based on open-source platform and implements different IT services, all on one server.

Centralized User Management

Centralized user management is based on a proven LDAP platform and enables centralized database of users and single sign-on (SSO) posibilities. IT4Biz SBC can take over the role of a Primary Domain Controller (PDC) in Windows network, enabling Windows desktop users the advantages of a Domain network and roaming profiles.

Centralized Management of Shared Resources

IT4Biz SBC can become a file and print server in a network providing shared resources for storage and printers. Access rights can be set on groups of users, or to the any user independently.

Communication services

IT4Biz SBC is also a complete email server solution with full anti-virus and anti-spam filtering, implementing both webmail access as well as full IMAPv4/POP3 and SMTP support. Instant Messaging (IM) Jabber server, that can connect to the public IM networks like GTalk.

Advanced network router

IT4Biz SBC is also an advanced network router with full firewall support, 802.1q trunking, QoS and traffic shaping. Besides a powerfull L3 packet filtering capabilities, IT4Biz SBC can work as a HTTP filtering proxy server with configurable filtering rules, thus prohibiting unwanted access to certain sites and pages.

Infrastructure services

IT4Biz SBC offers DHCP/BOOTP, DNS, NTP, Intranet Web site and VPN services for the local network. DHCP can be configured to dynamicaly updates the local DNS server, and VPN service supports both branch office and road warrior connectivity.
